M-Tech rear question ..

Ok I am having a hell of a time trying to source an m-tech rear bumper with the PDC holes. I have read various threads where you can drill the holes .. ok fine .. but how are people mounting their PDC sensors? Holding them in place? Help!

Thanks!

There should be brackets you can buy. I believe they stick to the inside of the bumper to hold the PDC sensor.

You are correct sir .. for those that have the current sport package (M-sport) on your car .. the part numbers are as follows:

51128040169, 51128040170, 51128040153, and 51128040154

part numbers

51127118195, 51127118196, 51127118197, 51127118198 are the part numbers for those w/o the sport package.

Well here is the bumper, PDC holes drilled and all .. dropped the car off Monday and got it back yesterday .. they did an awesome job!

Here are the part #'s that I also ordered to help with the install.

PDC sensor brackets for my car (I have an 07 with the sport package)

51128040169, 51128040170, 51128040153, and 51128040154

and the rear bumper guides, I guess you can make your stock one's work .. but I just got the right ones.

51127906505 & 51127906506

I took the chance with a vendor on Ebay, for the Mtech rear for my car. This vendor has a previously good review from someone that bought an M3 front bumper so I thought I would give them a try.

All I can say is that the body shop stated that they didn't have any problems and the bumper looks great!

Here is a link to the current listing. I know we should support our local forum vendors and I was all for it, but I was only given so much from the guys insurance for the bumper. The nice thing, free shipping to your door!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-06-08-PR...87bfd9&vxp=mtr

Also a shout out to the guys here in AZ over at Lake Pleasant Collision Center for painting / installing the bumper for me!

Bumper via the link shows 485 shipped ... the bumper guides were I think 20-30 bucks each. I paid a little north of 400 for paint and install. That includes sensor hole drilling. I was told if I wanted to install myself the paint would have cost a little over 300.
