18" style 5 / type 5 / BBS RC on E90
I always wanted a set of 18" Style 5 on my 335d and when I found a brand new set for sale a few weeks ago on eBay I bought them at once!
I have 255x35x18 in the rear and 235x40x18 in the front. However, I have a problem The wheels from the rear are touching the rear wings What should I do? Buy a stiffer suspension or widen the rear wings? |

Welcome, very nice. You should try to roll the fenders.

You can roll the fenders. Those tires look really square on those rims which is the main reason why you're rubbing, but rolling your fenders will take care of that.
Can you post a side pic? I really want to see it. |

I'm sorry but these are the only pictures I have taken.
After I saw I'm rubbing I took the rims down from the car. About the tires - I bought the factory recommended dimensions for BMW Style 5. The 18" stock tires on my car have the same dimensions as the ones from the BBS RC. So naturally I thought they will fit just fine on my car. It's the ET of the rims which is not OK for my car. Do you have a link or something to somebody who rolled his wings? |

255 is fairly square on a 9 inch wide rim and Michellins run wide. Where is it you are rubbing? If it's where the rear fender meets the bumper you can just trim that.
