5x120 --->>> 5x114.3 Adaptor ?? Anyone got experience ??
Hi guys, new to the forum here.....
Just got myself a 08 E93, time to start change it up abit As I have more than a few sets of 5x114.3 on hand, I would like to see whats my options in regards to changing the bolt pattern using these adaptors ? Any suggestions? Brand? I did a quick search, some say Ichiban, not sure about any other brand Thanks in advance |

It depends on the size of the wheels. If the specs are already ideal, or aggressive for your E93, adapters aren't going to do you any good. You have the option to have the wheels redrilled though. What are your 5x114.3 wheel specs?

This is what I have in mind Work VS-TX 18x8.5 +45 18x9.5 +45 Given the adaptor will be atleast 15mm in thickness, this should bring the wheels to a +30, which should be a decent fit I suppose ?? Thanks again ! ! ! |

Oh wow! I haven't seen anyone really running VS-TX haha. With 15mm adapters those sizes could work without redrilling. What adapters were you thinking about running?

What 5x114.3 car did you have these on before? Algernons Intelesses are sweet wheels too.
We do not sell any adapters, just wheels and tires.

Just got myself a E93, and gotta start browsing my options, if I can make the bolt pattern to a 5x114.3, then I can most likely change wheels weekly, lol Really want to do a super fat lip Work Equip in 19" if I can find the adaptor plate..... or maybe SP1, decision decision decision |

That would explain all the different Japanese wheel brands haha. All I can say is, if you decide to change wheels weekly, be sure to take pictures of each setup.

If anyone finds a reliable adapter without anyone bashing "why would you do that, you'll ruin the car", wheel options will be unlimited for JDM heads.

How much would it cost to redrill wheels to a 5x114.3 bolt pattern? Estimate of course, I don't expect anyone to know an exact #. I'm a former G35 guy and love JDM wheels compared to what's offered for the BMW. There are tons of G35 and 350z guys selling their old set ups for dirt cheap compared to what the manufacturer wants.

Just posting cause I am planning on doing this, did you end up getting adaptors?
I have read that the Ichiba ones are not chamfuered causing it not to sit properly. Going to go with Motorsports Tech I think. |

In the market for adapters like this too.. the big problem with the Ichiba's is that the centerbore are something like 73.5 or something like that... my wheels are 67.1... anyone know of any other options that are pre-made? I've looked into having them made too but they're expensive that way.

Is one preferred over another? Redrilling vs adapter in terms of safety with hard driving and wear? Not trying to high jack!
