Yes that is fine. If the SW version was different it would not have loaded.

If the dyno runs shows an issue of course we do not tune it and recommend that you have the issue seen to. If this happens you just pay for the dyno run.
Cool, I call the shop to get it booked in!

thankyou, can the map be tailored to specific requirements.?
My experience of turbo remaps is just to whack the boost up to silly psi, creating horrid torque spikes which give massive mid range power, but which also make traction impossible in all the lower gears and spoil the o.e drive quality, and then what tends to happen is the power drops off at the top end way before the redline because the turbo cant maintain the requested boost at high revs.
I would like to keep the o.e feel and the beautiful linear delivery, but just make it a little stronger, and i would like peak power to be either at, or very near to the redline, not some where between 5-6k and then dropping away.
About 350 bhp fly ideally, i hear some quoting up to 370 bhp from just a remap but i don't want to push things to hard, i prefer to keep it nice and safe.

Is all that possible

p.s my apologies if this comes across a bit picky, you may well be the best bmw mappers in the world for all i know....but that's the point ...i don't know !
Thank you

Here is a graph for our standard ECU remap which has been making this much power safely since 2008 on 1000's of X35i's all over the world.

We can do what you want ie lower power but as it is proven on this platform that 60-70 BHP is easily and safely obtainable I do not understand why you would want less.

Of course we can do this but it would be a custom tune and not the same price as our standard tune.

Nice graph........only reasons i asked for lower power is so the turbo's are still having an easy life and also because i dont want to compromise the standard cars amazing traction in the lower gears.
I have come from a high power front drive car and it was useless till 3rd gear, i want to be able to lay 1st and 2nd gear, and i dont know at what power level traction becomes an issue ?!?!?
i appreciate you time to answer.
Thankyou..

I'm in the same boat and would be looking for a remap as you discribed. I like the linear power delivery but just want a bit more of it.

Do you have a similar graph you can publish showing before and after figures for 335i's fitted with the later N55 engine?
