2009 e92 335i xDrive Barbera Red - M-sport Front Bumper Installed
I recently got a new, replica M-sport front bumper for my 2009 e92 335i xDrive. The color is Barbera Red so this would be the first BR I've seen with an M-sport bumper. I have the shadowline trim and BMW performance kidney grills (gloss black), so the lower silver/gray mesh was killing me. My stock bumper already had a few blemishes, so I figured I'd upgrade the whole thing instead of painting the lower grills.
It came out great! No more silver/aluminum accents on the body anymore and no more orange reflectors! *Update: Added before/after photo for comparison. The last thing I need to do is wheels, and I am leaning towards VMR VB3 18" Hyperblack. Side question: do you guys think given the black color scheme that Hyperblack will look good? I won't do gunmetal or black, so I think this is a good compromise. I apologize for the rain/terrible weather in these photos. Figures I get this installed and we're in the middle of a 4 day gryy/rain spell. That's New england for you. Last edited by pinemind; 03-06-2013 at 11:52 AM.. Reason: Added before/after picture |

The fact that your car color is so unique makes it even more cool!

this is the first time im seeing an M-Sport front bumper in BR..and IMO it looks GREAT! btw if your looking to get VB3's i think that you should go for 19s rather than 18s

18s or a drop and 19s
i think hyperblack is perfect. i have them and love how in the sunlight they are shiny but at night they look almost black. and under street lights when clean they sparkle nicely without being "chrome"

Yeah, my next step is actually to do the drop, regardless of wheel size. Going with Koni Yellow/Bilstein Pro-Kit. Wheels should be in mid-April once winter is finally over. I think I may stick to 18's. Boston roads are garbage.

Looks great.
Let me ask you this though. Is this a direct fit with existing belly pan shield, fenders, and ultimately brake/oil cooler duct for pre-lci? Did you install it? |

From what the body shop told me, yes. He didn't have to add any parts at all. Keep in mind I don't have an oil cooler, so that may have made it easier.

Bimmer front bumper
I'm having a hell of a time finding a M style front bumper with fogs and PDC for my 2012 335i x drive coupe.
Yours looks great and that's what I want. Can anybody help me with my search? I can find lots of them up to 2011 but no 2012! |

2011 and 2012 bumpers are exactly the same.
