Winter Tyres, Have I missed the boat?
Just looking at the price of 17" winter tyres I am sure that they were cheaper than summer tyres a couple of months ago but looking at mytyres today they seam about £50 a tyre more than a similar premium branded summer tyre ? or is it me....

Prices have risen as stocks have reduced. They can now virtually charge what they like.

They claim it's because the manufacturers are increasing their prices, so they have to follow. Most likely its a bit of both and with demand booming, they see their opportunity to make some extra money. They must be rubbing their hands with the massive amount of snow this early. No risk of ending up with loads of stock....
