The other reason Bavdom, that I requested a refund is I am hesitant about the quality of the CF intake. I have come across some information that your CF spitters had some problems. More specifically with the clear coat finish turning yellow due to heat. What is going to happen with the same clear coat next to the heat produced by a twin turbo engine? This intake is right next to it.
If you tell me that there will be no problems with it and the quality will be good, that's fine. But what kind of reassurances other than your word do we have that it will not turn into a POC in less than a year. What kind of warranty do you have sinse I believe you have stated that all the work is being done by your company and not being out-sourced? I do not want to become one of the customers that has to go through a long dragged out problem should the quality be bad. If it is a great product than awesome and we can do even more business. Please respond. |

As far as the time line and I believe some type of photos that others have requested, both are extremely past due. Time to rectify this so people can calm down (including myself). Otherwise this situation will only escalate.

Check it out. even though I filed a dispute with Amex, I went ahead and filed one with Paypal anyway. The message I received while doing this on Paypal was that the "seller" is unable to respond. Im pretty sure this means that their paypal account is closed.....

They were pretty smart by not offering refunds on the deposits. It's something I'd do if I was going to rip people off and then disappear. Not saying that's what they are doing but it certainly looks that way. Funny how when you have bad customer service your business goes to sh*t. Sounds like what will happen to Vishnu soon. The tide is turning for them.

Yea, I agree.... In the beginning, Bav seemed really cool to work with, on the forum all the time with updates and information. all of a sudden, just fell off the face of the earth. Stopped posting, stopped responding, all of their threads have been closed and pretty much removed.... Man, I really wanted that intake.

OK, I'll try to respond as much as I can, there are so many questions and comments. It really is easier if you PM because I can address questions one by one.
1. This intake will have lifetime warranty towards yellowing. I don't know where you heard of the yellowing splitters, no customer has ever contacted us about that. 2. We have always delivered products, we have taken long sometimes but we ALWAYS deliver. Just like Vishnu. The thing about this intake is that, like everyone knows, NEARLY all the GB fell off. But we still went with it, w.e. it was, my attention is in the present and getting this out asap. 3. I understand that lately I haven't posted updates, etc... and BavDom's reputation on this forum was good regarding answering customers and such. I've already tried to explain that due to the holidays BavDom was closed, and since I can answer questions from home, i did, up until I took a little vacation trip. So yes, I haven't been responding, but not because of negligence. 4. I hope we can get this done quickly so all those who participated in the GB can be happy with their product and we can all have a great and happy year. |

Time Line Response For Completion Of This Intake.
Answering this question is paramount and I am surprised you did not mention it when that is what all the members want to know. It will save you tons of e-mail so sending individual e-mails makes no sense when the questions for the most part are WHEN! |

Bav, I have already filed a dispute with paypal and have been issued a credit from my CC company. I believe they will try to contact you as part of their refund investigation. My reasons for explaining this are because, Im a pretty laid back guy and I have plenty of patience. However, when everyone that attempts to get a time line out of your guys, it goes unheard / un answered. That's the issue... I really do want the intake you guys advertised. I'm willing to end the dispute I've opened and call off the CC hounds if you can give us an honest update and completion date. This has been going long enough and there is no way you dont have a completion date set. Unless of course production hasnt started and you truly dont know. I think now is the time to come clean and let us know (us = people that have paid deposits) what the real timeline is. We will not accept and unknown delivery dates... Come on man, no more BS. Nobody will disagree with you guys going on vacation but that excuse is only good for a 2 week period out of the 4 or 5 months that we've wanted a completion date. I want this intake and am willing to stick with it. I just want a completion date...

Dispute filed with AMEX today. A little too late to file Paypal dispute because of the 90-day rule.
