but they look just as good I guess. I got them off a car forum I'm on for tennessee. They take 2 weeks 2 get though. I think LUX 5.0 is like 5000k and will look bluer than your LUX is you do that. These 6000k match my LUX 4.0 nicely, but 6500k or 7000k would probably be spot on. Oh and the price alone was a deal on these brand new bulbs.

for some stuff off brand is okay, but for some reason in BMWs at least in the standard bulbs people try and replace them with off brand ones and they seem to either blow really fast or cause a light to still be on in the cluster for the bulb being out..replace it with an OEM one and its always fine! idk its kinda weird..happens more in the older BMWs though

I guess since we use D1S bulbs that already have
resistors and stuff in them that make them plug n play in our headlights. The bulbs I have, or well the brand has been in some peoples cars, working good for over A year and 1/2, plus I only paid 100$ for both bulbs together, so if anything happens to them I have a year warranty on them, and can just replace them with my stock bulbs

Would anyone in the nashville area be interested in my sound system?
I've got a custom box that fits perfectly in the trunk and matches carpeting color. With: -2 12" Rockford fosgate subwoofers -Alpine amp -required cables Once you hear your stereo with the added bass you'll never want to go back to stock. I honestly have the bass all the way down, I don't like other people hearing a super loud bass, I just really enjoy the bass response that this setup adds to my sound system. trust me, stock bass is crap. I've posted pics in the past, I'll post some when I get home. I'm thinking $500 for it. ( I paid 1100) PM me if interested

Yeah I'm friends with Wynn. Really cool guy. I just got all my parts sold off of my S in order to prep for a BMW. All I have left to do is either decide to sell the car personally or trade it in and use it for a tax break and not have to deal with people coming and driving the car etc.

Speaking of which, is the BMW dealer here good? I went by once and drove a sedan because they didn't have a coupe and the guy told me he would call me when a coupe manual came in, I called back and he said it still wasn't there last week and hasn't called back once. I dunno, I just hate dealers in general.

I like BMW of Nashville a lot than almost any other
dealer I have been to, mostly everyone is pretty cool/nice. BTW that S2K with the 2J swap is my dream car I would do anything to get it, I mean I know its for sale and for like 28,000$ last time I saw what he was selling it for, but awesome car with an awesome engine and everything on it that would be needed, including that rear diff(silvia I think) and Getrag 6 speed from Supra, and don't forget that 88mm turbo god I want that car. It could be daily driven easily, if kept out of boost haha from 1-3rd gear

here you go bro. the picture doesn't show it, but you still have about 2/3 of the trunk left. I never had to remove them to fit all my stuff and my girlfriend's when going on trips. you can still remove them in 15 seconds if you desired and have all your trunk space back. I live in the Vandy area and work in Brentwood, let me know if you ever want to meet up!

the s2ks handle really well. they are quite fun to drive. redlining at 9000rpm is pretty amazing and the gearbox is the best. period.
with that being said, the base price of an s2k is the $600 less than a 135i............. enough said. |

True... but add anything and the 1 series is 40K+ easily and you can pick up a new S for 32k out the door nearly. I'll get another one at some point, but for now I want something more. I love people who sign up just to say S2k's are gay. That guy is obviously cool. The gearbox in the S is better than anything I've ever driven too. I remembered today that one of my friends grandparents own Checkered Flag in Virginia Beach so I will probably be going through them for the 335i now. |

good point. however i assume you wont be adding options to a 135i when comparing to an S. i didnt know you can get them for 32otd... the prices i quoted were found on their websites. regardles of how you look at it, i think the s2k is pretty expensive even though i like it |
