Chemical guys new car prep

My Vehicle went into 150! Just have to wait now! I searched but could not find the chemical guys new car prep kit. From what I read in the sticky in the "new car prep" I compared the meguiers products to chemical guys in order to my preference (I'm not a fan of Meguier's) Can you let me know if the following would be necessary for a new car prep. My car is going to be Alpine White; w/ black leatherette, basically I would prefer CG because I've seen all the great cars you guys have been detailing with this brand:

-ONR
-CG CWG
-CG New car Scent
-CG Leather cleaner and conditioner
-Poorboor's natural look
-Jetseal 109
-CG 50/50 paste
-CG Waffle Weave Microfiber
-CG Clay Bar light elastic

Is this all necessary for new car prep? Thanks in advanced.

Depends. If you dont spill stuff, dont eat in your car, keep it clean, ect...

Basically just keep the interior like new and it will stay for quite some time. I have 33,000miles on my car, and everytime i use cg leather cleaner and conditioner the new smell comes out and stays for awhile.

To answer your question; its in your hands. It could be a months, or it could be years. Its all just up to how well you maintain you interior and to what products you use. But you are on the right track with the cg leather cleaner/conditioner. And buy the seprate ones(a clear liquid for cleaning and a tan gel for conditioning), not the all in one spray.

True, paste is always better for that final touch in detailing!

Tell me what you are looking for and I will help you out.

List every department such as clay, wax, seal ect.... and I will point you in the right direction.

Hey LRG sorry i couldn't help but notice your willingness to help so i got a few questions i was wondering if you could help me out too?? haha

anyways i have a TiAg e90 and i was wondering if a sealant would be better than a wax? and if so what sealant or wax would you reccomend?

I've been looking at the chemical guy kits and there just so many products i don't even know where to start..... i guess i'm just looking for a basic wash, clay bar, and sealant, perhaps a quick detailer too......any advice would be great thanks

I know wash and clay (I used mothers a week ago so don't need clay for another couple of months).

Past the wash and clay is where I need help - what do I need? cleaner and polish/sealant? how do I get that really nice & shiny wet look and protect my car's paint at the same time?

Based on reading posts, it appears that I need:

Jetseal 109

Ha It's good to see butt paste has made it everywhere. I know the guy, George Boudreaux, who started that company. He used to sell it in generic tubs in his pharmacy. It's an awesome product.

If I had a Tiag or white car I would just do Jetseal and it will look stunning and it is pretty durable. For the darker colors I'd use the ez creme glaze and top it with 50/50. I have a couple of white cars and I am amazed at how well
they look with just the Jetseal compared to all the work I have done on my Jet black.

Chemical guys new car prep

hi,
I had the pleasure of making my first purchase at Chemical Guys recently. I needed a good wax for my black Dodge truck and, upon reading so many mobile detailing good things about your 50/50 wax, bought a tub of Pete's '53. The day it arrived, I had to give it a try! The wax is truly amazing. Very easy on, even easier off, no matter how thick or thing I apply it. The applicators it came with were excellent as well. The shine is deep, crisp and wet. After its first wash, I was amazed with the beading. Hadn't seen anything like it! And, unlike some other waxes I've used, the surface was still very slick after more than a full week after initial applications.
