The highest miles on an N57 engine?

Hi all,

Interested to see how good this engine is eating up big miles. My N57 325d has 168500 miles on the clock and runs really nice, it's one o the first E90s to get the N57 engine and wondering if anyone on this site has one with more miles?

Cheers

Thats a good idea. Is the tread for 335d? from memory post 2008 335D still used M57 engine. N57 went to the F30 335d...

There is not a ton of info on N57 problem solving and higher mileage cars are the best exemples, that could be great.

Thats impressive. Mine I flappy paddle auto and could do with an oil change on the box. But other than that and the alloys being made out of chocolate, drives spot on. Impressive thing this engine

EGR i got bored one day and took it out and gave it a good clean out, the only thing which is problematic is the DPF light comes on and goes off when it feels like it, even though car is on motorway most of its life....

I think they have a limited life regarless of 250 000 - 350 000 km (life of the car).

Could be worth getting it taken out and emptied.

It'll need to be mapped out anyway, my plan is egr delete and dpf removal and remap all in one (they'll do the work)
