+1 on the pic, but I doubt it will get rid of the 4x4 look at all.
I need to at least give props to OP for trying out the ZSP springs, that could be useful info for others!!!

Nope, a 330. And the front is still way too high. Also, I do feel a slight improvement in handling after I drove the car more around my normal routes. These springs will get me by until a proper spring and shock package is developed for the xi. |

Did you give it a chance to settle after install (few days)?
If they were new, they'll drop some more after settleing in. |

They are used - purchased from a guy on this board. I don't think they will settle much. I'm going to remeasure everything to see if they dropped anymore. I do notice a difference in handling. Especially today when I drove it to work on the usual on/off ramps.

After more driving I am very happy with the ZSP springs. The car feels much "sportier". The highway floating feeling is gone and the car doesn't feel like a boat on on and off ramps. Also I measured the drop again and there are solid 1/2 drop all around the car. As you can see from the picture above I think it took care of the 4x4 look and gave it a normal looking ride height. So for the price I would do it again.

Won't using zsp springs with the xi shocks still will accelerate life of the xi shocks... at first I was considering get the Eibach Pro with stock shocks but if the zsp spring will work fine with zsp springs I rather do that... plus on getting the lowering perch when they're in stock again (10mm-15mm lowering)..

If you want a drop, even springs will run you like $200 + $200 install (if you can't do it yourself) and you'll have to replace you struts about a year or two after so that'd be like $600 + another $200 install. So now after a year or two you're up to $1200 in stuff and coulda had the H&R's installed for that price or upgraded to the KWV1's for the xi for another $200 (these are recommended since they won't rust out on you if you live in a place that gets rain or snow like the H&R's have been prone to do). The springs (which I have) are good if your on a budget and don't care to think down the road but the smart choice if you plan to keep your car for a while is to just pony up for the coils, when you're done, get um uninstalled and you'll get 60-80% of your investment back. |
