Procede 335I 0 to 150. Very Fast:)
Found this vid on you tube
starts the run at the 59 second mark and hits 150 at the 1:23 second mark. Thats 0 to 150mph in 24 seconds. I know the speedo is off on the 335i but that is fast. Here is a list of oher cars 0 to 150mph times. Imagine what procede V2.0 will do. I love my 335i, and I really lover my ProCEDE but I have an issue believing my 335i is quicker to 150 than an E55 AMG.... I don't conclude the video is wrong, just that the numbers posted for the other cars might be.

Car and Driver list the 0 to 150 mph of the E55 amg sedan as 24.5 seconds. I agree The number of 27.3 seems a little slow. Combine that with speedo error on a 335i. But still not bad

its not stock, he was pushing 342 whp and 361 wtq still a good time though, a 24 sec 150 mph basically equates to 114 to 115 mph trap |

"Procede 335I 0 to 150. very fast" C&D got a 26.6 0 to 140 mph on a stock 335I.

Just because he may never have been in one doesn't prevent him from saying why it might be slower. And you don't have to belittle people like that...it's unbecoming...

Trust me a v1.45 procede 335i alone will get walked by an 04 e55. Ive already tried, one of my good friends has one.
Its not as bad as some of you guys think tho. About 2CL's of a gap from a roll @ 60 mph. But I have more than procede. Its about the same speed as an AA s/c stage 3 M3, /w no gears and no weight reduction. The 335i will need at least 380ish+ whp to be even with one. Esp on the highway. Its making 469 horsepower and 516 lb-ft. Weighs about a little under 400 lbs more than the 335i. Thats only 40rwhp it would need to overcome the weight disadvantage. Heres a baseline dyno of a stock e55. The hp/tq curve is very comparable to a tuned 335i.

The E55 weights in at 4257 pound the 335I sedan weights in at 3600 pounds that's a 650 lb difference. The statement that the e55 is a heavy elephant was correct. But I would take an e55 for my car in a second......very nice automobiles.

A stock E55 is already fast, imagine it's tuned with Renntech or Kleeman (ECU & PULLEY). NO CHANCE.

i may have been harsh, no hard feelings. Just making the point that such a statement of calling the e55 a heavy elephant implying it will lose doesn't make much sense, as the lb/hp ratios still favor the E55. The M5 then is also a heavy elephant, and relatively speaking in terms of vehicles weight to dimensions, the 335 is a walrus in itself. well, then again it is a BMW forum, so carry on |
