Is it your job to read what people are trying to sell and criticize their prices? Never taken out of the box, never put on a car. Regardless of what you think, it is new.

No No...I"m being fair and square! Okay, so like I said the item has passed from factory to vendor to seller and it's being attempted to be passed down to another buyer
let's stop for a minute and think, what if the seller decided he wanted to sell this item back to the vendor...do you really think the vendor would buy for the same price? (of course, it's brand new, never taken out of box) No, of course not! things lose value my friends.
You know why? because the vendor is in the business of making dough, negotiating, bargaining.

Ben, start acting like business man, start to negotiate, bargain..$700 shipped..is taking something off your shoulder and off your garage and passing it onto someone else's garage (because they'll probably just let it sit on their garage for a couple of months before they decide to even install it, good deal?

I know I'm new here and just made an account to get reviews on this exhaust but from the sounds of it your out of your mind. Who cares if been passed by two many hands. It's still brand new and he is knocking $3-400 off the brand new price. If you were in his situation you wouldn't let it go for $700. That's ridiculous. $1000 shipped is a steal in my book. I might actually take him up in his offer when I'm willing to buy in a few weeks. I've seen them on some websites go for around $1500 so $1000 is a steal. I hope it's still available for when I'm ready to buy. If not then whoever bought it got a good price. Good luck with the sale and don't listen to people that are just trying to rip you off...

I love your logic and I am not a master negotiator but there is something called a low ball offer...and this my friend is a low ball offer but I guess everyone has their right to offer what they are willing to buy it for but if you are not serious about buying then stop posting on his thread.

I am serious about buying so Ben, $700 and you can pack that thing up and ship it over, hahaha jk man. GL.

I'm serious, as serious can be, about taking this off Ben's hands. I mean, c'mon Ben, you know having this BMW performance exhaust lying in your garage is probably keeping you a couple of minutes awake at night before finally falling asleep. I mean it's taking much needed space for whatever other hobbies you got. You like golf? There!, so much needed space where you could store some golf clubs. Like fishing? Fishing poles require quite a lot of space too.
I want to take my bummer to the next level, allow it to let out the growwwwllll them engineers where thinking of when they designed this magnificent engine.

$700 shipped Ben, save yourself headaches to come and make a fellow e90poster happy. I'll even throw in sunday brunch, it's a deal?

Not trying to price police here, but this exhaust has come down in price since you've bought it. It can be purchased new for less than $1000 shipped. $700 might be a tad low but i think that $850 shipped would be more than reasonable for you to expect. Hell, what you're really best off doing is installing it and enjoy it for 6 months, then sell it.

To tell you the truth, I already have a BMW performance exhaust on my car, and yes, they sound beautiful. I often have my window cracked even when it is cold or raining just so I can downshift and hear it, haha! Its a long story as to why I purchased another one, but unfortunately for me I did, and hopefully someone soon will be enjoying it. I'll do $950 shipped, because I cannot find any shipping for less than $150, so I'm really only selling it for $800. Any takers?

You see my friends, I was right, this bmw performance exhaust needed to come down in price. The price of a brand spanking new one is $1000.00 and you figure that 3 sets of hands have touched it. $700 cash money shipped is quite reasonable
Take it now

Too late to take credit now

I posted they were $995 + $49 shipping from Tischer in the 1st page, 14th post

The versions that cost $1300 are for the dual 335 style exhaust - not the one sided 328 style such as the one he is selling. If he paid $1300, then he got ripped off

All I got was a smart (dumb) ass reply 'cool story bro' from some young kid, that if he could pull his head out of his butt for 5min - would know what was going on in the world...

OP has to understand, no one is trying to $hit on his thread, just trying to explain why it has not sold yet. It's not even so much that it has passed thru hands, but the fact that asking price was too high based on buying from a trusted forum vendor (BMW dealer) vs. new poster that comes in with 10 posts & no seller rating, and wants to sell same thing, for next to same price. In my mind, I would rather spend the xtra $44 from his original price buying from Tischer, and be assured that there would not be any potential problems.

With that said, $700 offer is still a leetle low - his shipping quotes of $150 are way out there though. I shipped an entire front nose for my TransAm in a 6' long x 4' high x 2' wide box, on a pallet, to the other side of the country, for $160 by UPS Freight. If Tischer only charges $49 to ship by UPS Ground he should be able to get close.

Guess it all depends how much he needs $$ or wants it gone - I know I have had some ridiculous offers on parts before where after packaging, PP fees, shipping fees - wasn't even worth my time. I'm not hurting for $$ and would rather leave the item set in my garage than give it away...

I do have a friend that is not a forum member that is interested - I'll hit him up again today when he gets back in town to see what he wants to do

I did not even need to check prices on any website I can just tell by the flow of the market and everything else involved that this indeed was a lemon deal with that staggering $1000 price tag. I tell you what $700 shipped is more likely to sell, fly outta the window.
I no longer am offering Sunday brunch included with this purchase.

I'm in no need of anything flying outta the window and I'm not trying to make any "lemon deals". I'm also not hurting for any money and don't care that it is sitting in my basement. As for shipping, UPS quoted me for over $200 and FEDEX quoted around $150. So $60 - $100 for shipping, please tell me where you are getting those prices from.

Try UPS Freight - they are used to handling larger size packages with less cost - that is who I used when I sent that T/A Front Nose in a huge 6'x4'x2' box, on a pallet - paid $160 from PA to Cali
