i think you may be confusing the sport steering wheel with the M-tech steering wheel which is perforated and higher grade leather.

I think you are correct... looking closer at the pics, it appears he wrapped the chrome strips from the sport trim with black vinyl and threw on the m sticker...

I believe this is a non-perforated m-tech steering wheel, sport steering wheels do not have the thumb bumps, or at least that is the terminology I have been using.

The trim piece is the stock oem one that has been refinished and has an M sticker on it. There are no nicks or scratches on it. This is the reasoning behind the pricing as it includes the wheel, mounting plate, Trim and buttons.

Regular sport wheels after 2006 have the thumb bumps unless it's an AT w/paddles.

This is a regular sport wheel.

Thanks for the info, this is still surprising to me as I have a brand new OEM sport wheel off of a 2010 that doesn't have thumb bumps. Am selling that one as well in my other thread.

Anyway my appologies to all confused, this is a sport wheel, again exactly as pictured, you get what is shown.
