Lost opportunity to buy the x5 at a great price .. car is still up for sale. I need to sell to get into a suv since I have to travel out of state for my promotion I need something with more room etc... It truly is a beautiful car never gave me issues.. i'm even considering dropping insurance for winter / fall months and only registering for spring and summer thats how much i love my car...

Glws clean car. Well worth the price. But I'd have to say, stock cars always sell faster. You'll have better luck parting out and selling the car for 23ish

Thanks on the clean car and luck. But for parting out to sell for $2000 less doesn't make sense to me. It would cost me more than $2000 to buy an oem 335 bumper have it painted to be an exact match on a 4 year old car and to buy an oem 335 exhaust. Then to pay to have it installed. Then have to explain and hope the buyer believes why i replaced the bumper and exhaust. Me I would think it was in an accident seeing all new parts like that.
I'll take my chances on selling with an aftermarket exhaust since all you see on this forum are people taking apart, trading and modifying their cars. My mods are minor compared to changing things to the engine...

Thanks again for the look at my post..

I'm pretty sure most people like myself would trade you a stock already painted alpine white front bumper plus cash for yours. So you wouldn't be losing anything but rather gaining $500 or so and then you could reflect that in the price. Same goes for the exhaust.

I'm not sure why you would have to explain to a potential buyer why you have a stock bumper or exhaust. It's stock and wouldn't look out of place. As a buyer I'd be more worried about a modified car as opposed to a stock car.

stock would be easier to sell, even if your not chipped people buying it may think it was and its a fact that longetivity would be dimiinished significantly and the no warranty coupled with that makes buyers steer away,.

i say make it stock, just find someone to swap out the parts. a buyer for BOTH the body and exhaust that way you dont have to make two trips. put it up for 1200 for a full trade, im sure someone will jump on it and you can sell the car faster.
