All the nicer areas of Leeds there, especially those located next to shitholes. And some of the shitholes too.
Hence why my insurance is fucking insane. Can't argue really can I? Matt |

lol, all bradford and leeds... nothing much else going on there in the evenings i guess?
curiously, swansea is top of the safe spot list?? not according to insurers i guess, when i contracted at the DVLA for a short while i looked into changing my 'home address' to swansea and the premium went up over 50%

Seem to be plenty of London postcodes there as well. Interestingly, the Bradford ones are either very wealthy areas of the Metropolitan District, which extends way beyond the city and includes some seriously pleasant countryside and desirable locations, or the expected inner city areas. Where we live, for example, is a Bradford postcode but is semi-rural and right on the edge of Calderdale. Some other areas are 15 miles outside the city, but still have the Bradford code.
The city suffers from high levels of unemployment and poverty. The postcode I work in is predominantly poor and listed as a seriously disadvantaged community with the associated problems that brings. Not everyone is a criminal simply through poverty though and most people in the area work hard at low paid jobs. That being said, there are pockets of wealth surrounding the city and these attract crime. When our house got broken into in an attempt to steal my TTS, the two culprits who were caught had travelled from York and were trawling the area looking for nice motors to steal; so it doesn't necessarily follow that the local inhabitants are all scumsucking pond dwellers...although we do have our fair share of those!
