E90 LCI Mtech Rear Fitment Problems
Hey guys, I have just put on a LCI Mtech rear bumper on my 328 LCI. FItment is 8.5/10, fits like a glove, however just a few minor issues bothering me.
My body shop told me the holes on the bottom do not really match (like 1 of the screws on each side. Also, another thing bothering me is the fender liners on the rear bumper does not fully reach the bumper edges and leaves a small 2-3cm gap on each side and I am afriad debris might be hit into the gap. No brackets were changed, used the existing OEM brackets that were already on the car for the bumper install as I just provided him with the Bumper shell. Regarding the fender liners, are the Mtech ones for the e90 LCI same for the non Mtech for the rear? i know for the front they are different. Fitment is good but just small details which got me thinking if there are any fixes. Thanks |

Hey how's it going, well I haven't really found a kit that fits "perfect ". Someone hit my rear end at Walmart one day and took off (I don't know how this happens when I park a mile away) so I decided to purchase a M3 replica since it's way nicer (and cheaper since I got a deal) so Anyhoo since I was going to be out of town I didn't paint it or put it on myself but got a close friend to do it. Shortly after fitting it he immediately told me there were issues. From the corners not matching to the rear fender to it being bowed and wavy. Anyhoo long story short, it took a lot of work and still is not 100%
Don't know about your mtech but iv seen others that are OK, but not perfect. |
