Ceramic Brake Pads

Has anyone tried replacing their pads with ceramics? If so does anyone have any brand they would recommend?

waste of money bro. Wouldn't even consider it unless your E90 will be a dedicated track car.

Not to necropost but...

Some ceramic pads are designed to cut down on or even outright eliminate brake dust. While there have always been "low dust" pads on the market, new ceramic technology makes the modern stuff dust free without any loss in performance.

Hawk makes a good set, I think you'll find them a nice upgrade:

Hey Socom this is what I came up with after going through the site.

Brake Components for 2006 BMW 330i Sedan Sport Package

Sorry, no brake components match your current search criteria.

Gotta wait till they make a set for our cars, too early in the game to be shopping for brake pads I guess.

I will not be upgrading my brake pads because I do not want to fool with my brake warranty... The E90 employs a somewhat disposable brake system meaning that when your brake service comes around they throw out your old pads and rotors and replace them for free. If you were to replace your pads I doubt that they will replace the rotors for free and that is pretty expensive...
