I upgraded to an M-Tech Steering Wheel w/ multifunction trim so I'm looking to sell the Sport Steering Wheel + Multifunction Trim off of my E92. Everything is in perfect condition.

Does you car currently have the circular airbag, not the triangular one? If you've got the circular airbag, I would assume it to be compatible.

I don't know which one; I would probably have to take my steering wheel apart to know? I know I have the sport pack wheel but it does not have the silver trim as in the '07 and later models. Does anyone know?

It's very simple to tell which kind of airbag you have by just looking at the steering wheel. The airbag is the module in the center of the wheel that has the BMW roundel on it that you push to honk the horn. If this module is a circle, you are good. If this module is triangular - no dice.

If you have sport package you will have the correct airbag, the circle one.

For the people with non-sport steering wheel you will need this steering wheel with cover, a new sport airbag (~$500) and an airbag bracket (very hard to find).
