Strange smell coming from interior air vents

Over the past week I've noticed a strange smell inside my car when stationary and driving. Strangely, this has happened shortly after receiving my car back from BMW following the QE for the timing chain, however I can't think that they would have had to do anything or disturb anything to cause this smell i'm experiencing.

I do recall BMW saying about using the correct windscreen washer fluid to prevent a buildup of bacteria..

Has anyone else had this problem? if so, what was done to resolve?

In case it matters my car is a 57 plate E92 320d m sport.

First thing I would do is completely drain and refill your washer bottle ... That stinks if it get stagnant.

I had a weird smell in the car - something like old cauliflower - when I used the washer jets. Drained it and filled with a very low water high concentrate mix to kill anything in there, worked a treat, after a couple of days there was no smell.
