Wife and kids are home - see, I can share (still NSFV)

Notice: This thread is not safe for vegans either...or those who like baby cows.

So...took a trip to whole foods again. This time I got the Veal version of the Tomahawk. These things are still massive.

As matter of reference - the platter these are sitting on is 12"x16". These where brought to room temperature for just over an hour - and simply again, EVOO, cracked pepper and sea salt (for grilling - KISS)

Kingsford and Lump - temp to 500 degrees. 4 flips @ 4 minutes each side for the first 2, 2 to 3 minutes for the next 2.

Finished product - let it sit for 3 to 5 minutes

Inside - the perfect Med-Rare (someone wanted to see the cut inside last time)

Again, paid off the bitches (just so they don't talk about last time).

Yeah - my pups eat better than most families. I spoil - they know it - and they'll rub it in your face. Princesses.

So - what did you eat for dinner tonight?

Thanks

If you notice the slight v-notch in the black ones right ear...that's from when she took on two racoons at once. While she took a beating, the racoons a ended up...well...dead.

She's a total sweetheart, and loves hugs from people...animals just need to stay out of her yard.

The white one is learning. There's a rabbit that's been taunting her.

I cooked the same thing last week with a twist... I took Italian Parsley and garlic and chopped it well... added sea salt and pepper to the parsley and garlic and then added fresh lemon juice. Cooked the meat and then garnished it... Effing amazing

I made a 16" pizza.

1/2 Mozzarella & gorgonzola
1/2 Mozzarella, bacon, jalapino & cheddar sausage, and a sprinkle of 4 cheese Mexican blend.

Garlic butter brushed bread sticks and crust.

You look like you can make them well. I love multi cheese pizzas.

I didn't have any fresh herbs - I was thinking on basil and time with some garlic powder (salt and pepper). How did you cook it?

Thanks, i've got a little experience.

The month i met my wife she purchased a pizza shop. If i wanted to see her, i had to be there. So we ran the place together for a few years.

This thread makes me want to grill some animal flesh. But i think i'm swearing that off until this 95 degree heat and 100% humidity breaks for cooler weather.

I grilled the meat, once done plated them and put the garnish on it. Used tons of garlic with the Parsley and I am telling you its one of the best dishes I have cooked

I was working the grill tonight. Yum.

Start with a dry rub.

On the grill after sitting out at room temp for 20 min or so.

Don't forget a starch.... mac & cheese.

Boom.

I picked up some marinated/seasoned pork medallions at Costco yesterday. Thinking a creamy pesto over some sort of pasta with those porkers on top!!!
