TPMS sensors
Hi All,
Got my VMR V710's put on my car, new toyo's thrown on for the summer. I guess in my research of new tires and wheel size i forgot about TPMS sensors. I have a 2009 328xi. Wondering how serious it would be not to put them on other than getting the annoying beep when i turn on my car and the warning light on the dash/idrive. My old stock rims have my winter tires on them and do have the sensors in them. My question is how serious would it be not to get them installed on the new rims. I mostly just dont want to deal with the extra cost of the tires being demounted, the sensors installed, mounting and balancing and putting em back on. Thoughts? |

Just means you'll have to rely on yourself as a driver instead of the car to determine if your tires are losing air.
And by that I mean you'll have to go out and check them on occasion. If one suddenly and rapidly loses air while driving, you'll know it. No amount of TPMS will save you from that. |
