if I use the procede flash and jb4? as opposed to buying a cobb just for the bms flash which to me makes no sense...

probably fine. you need the G5 ISO but why? is it about the price? i doubt you can get the flash without running the procede. You probably need to supply proof of buying either procede or flexfuel kit. At least this is my guess knowing how Vishnu runs his business. (now i have actually helped you if Vishnu is reading this LOL)

lol. I know it wnt blow up I just said that cause I know the 2 tuners dnt see I to I. but I would think that its a better solution than to go out and buy a cobb just to flash with the dme with a bms map when you could buy a procede flash... smh maybe its just me. the both do the exact same thing.

you are actually better off getting the cobb since you can use it by itself or with G5 and resell it later on.
Also think that you are than stuck with the procede flash , you have to ship it and to go stock again you probably have to ship it again or pay the dealer to reflash.

I would not assume they will work together. The BMS flash is designed specifically to work with the JB4 ISO. The JB4 sends sensor signals to the flash that trigger certain things that will not be present in other flashes. If you have the PROcede flash already I would flash it back to stock or if possible use the AP to over write it before uploading the BMS flash.

Anyone working on a DIY for EVC's WinOLS so we don't need Vishnu or BMS's COBB solution?

My vote goes to it will work just fine with G5 ISO. will need to log and tweak fueling though.

Lol no. Changes are made to timing lambda targets scalar and load for various applications. Nothing the Procede flash doesn't already do.

I would also vote on getting an AP though. You will find yourself running different maps for various fuel types and setups. With the Procede flash you'll end up with one timing map which may or may not work for your needs. Fueling you can get away with through bias, but less is more on that front as well.

I figured if I get the vishnu flash and run the jb4 g5 iso with the upgraded lpfp I would be good to go to run straight e85 which is all I want to do anyway. I also have the dinan stage 2 which alters fuel tables also so would I need to get the flash still if I ran jb4 on top of it....

I would be careful mixing a flash with a different manufacturer piggy. I had a friend do it and he took out 5 city blocks and made a nearby forest look like a pile of toothpicks!


Also, you should be fine. The Vishnu flash AFAIK removes some of the limitations in fueling in the stock DME (there might be something else, too?)
