N55 intake

Best intake for n55? Heard that injen intake isn't good makes you lose power

Best intake = the free one that comes with the car.

Bms doesn't have the nice sound like injen and seems like injen inhales more air, of course summer isn't good because inhales hot air

yeah i have injen and i love it. i dont regret it. i just heard bms has proven dyno gains. i love the way injen looks and sounds compared to bms. in the end it's your car and you should mod it the way you like it.

if youre looking for more gains just do FBO as far as the intake goes BMS seems to be the only one that has had proven gains other than that stock would probably be your next best bet. Injen will sound better than both but as far as numbers go it'll probably be the same or slightly decrease

I just installed the BMS one on my car...it sounds very nice and adds around 10 HP to the wheels. You can hear your turbos spool very clearly along with your diverter. Sounds amazing and looks amazing...it is also cool that it uses the bottom of the stock intake and is easy to install/uninstall before dealer visits!

Around 200 bills. You can often snap one up on the cheap in the FS section though.

I paid $170 for it new from Mod Bargains but I also bought my JB4 with it so I'm not sure they'll go that low. $199 is still a good price for it new but yeah, +1 on browsing the FS section.

There is sound with a different intake, but power? not really. Maybe 5 HP. You won't notice it while driving, other than the louder sound.

just get an aftermarket filter and be done with it. Honestly the sound gets old and annoying after a while. It sounds cool at first always. Factory airbox with aftermarket filter is the way to go. Take off the cowl and you will still hear the blow off/spool with higher boost.
