Loving the colour! And like the black alloys already, think they suit it as is.

You're not far from me, will keep an eye out for your motor!

Oh Yes!

Looks great mate! The wrap makes is something special! That front end is awesome now!

Honestly, i would have got M3 skirts to match the agressiveness of the front end and the high kick of the boot, because you will eventually get a performance carbon rear diffuser which will make the sides look a little plain. But i guess that is something to look forward to after your stance is sorted!

Definitely on the right track to creating a beauty!

Keep it up! AND Dont Slow Down hah

Looks great in that blue, and those lights are fantastic. I think you just cost me £300 as I now want some.

rim choice update

i've been tryna decide on rims for sooo long... at first i wanted the car to be show standard so i didn't wanna get replicas, so i was planning on getting 2nd hand BBS LMs or LM-Rs and refurbing them but nothing seems to be popping up (loads for VAG fitment but none for BMW)... also i dunno how much hate i will get for colour coding original rims lol...

so i thought i'd get VMR V710s but i decided they don't look different enough...

after a long nights think about it, i say F*** it, im gonna go for replicas lol... (unless you guys see some 19" LMs or LM-Rs for about 1g with or without tyres, please please let me know...)

so these are what i have chosen:

(19x8.5 et35 front and 19x10 et35 rear)

my plan is to get the dish (outer part) satin black, and the inner part colour coded to match the car... need to call Dips and ask him to sort me out... and i wanna wrap the alloys in Vredestein tyres cos they look sooo cool and i've read great reviews on them

anyways, this probably won't happen til the end of the month so guys, feel free to screw at my decision or guide me or anything really lol...

Nice one buddy and manual makes the car so much more enjoyable!!

I absolutely love the colour and look forward to seeing it in the flesh.....

Have you looked at CM Wheels website they have some cool wheels that might take your fancy?! If not the LM-R's are a good shout and rarer than the standard LM's.

Mark @ BM Autosport is a good guy and has some great wheels! replica's do get quite a lot of slating but some are of a better quality than others!!!

one thing i will say is dont rush it! it took me 6 months to decide on my 1 set of wheels (now my winters) and nearly the same amount of time to find and secure my Hartge Splits!

they will make of break the car and its not something you can rush lol! have you seen other E92/3s with the LM-Rs on it? i know dharman (theivz) had them on his touring! they looked cool but he recently changed his wheels too!

my personal opinion would be to stay away from the "BBS Rep" style...go for something a little different!

but if thats what you like then go for it! they will look good either way

+ 1 to Sumils comments, LM copies and CSL styles are done and in the past, you could make a real statement by doing something a little different, as the rest of the car is excellent.

yeahhh, i checked them out too, they didn't have LM-Rs in the fitment i want...

yeahhh i know! but they look so damn good... i think only vossen and bbs are the aftermarket alloys i'd get... nothing else just seems clean enough... i think i'm just gonna wait it out until i find some proper BBSs...

lol well actually i think i know what blue you're talking about but this colour changes in the light, in bright sunlight it looks much brighter and the camera made it look even brighter... but normally it's much darker... i guess you have to see it in person lol...

and nah none at all... but i'm planning for JB4, a wider downpipe, DCIs and a good BOV... this won't happen for a few years though cos i'm only 22 and insurance won't have any of it lol... coming from a 316i saloon, this is a decent upgrade in performance so i'm good

awesome colour!

mods look great so far ... cant wait for rims and drop

BCs are excellent cannot recommend enough

Mark is a top bloke I've pretty much bought all my rims from him lol. the LMRs are top except the fake bolt things look crap but never fear Dips is here lol. He will completely transform the rim - have a look at my build thread. He used genuine bolts and painted my centres. the colours you are going for will look ace or you could colour code the centre and leave the lip bling - which will work well too

the thing with reps is that you do need to be on top of them in terms of cleaning and protecting but for us modders cleaning your car is like breathing lol. they will eventually corrode but so do genuine ones with stone chips etc if you can afford genuine then great if not then Mark is your man

look forward to meeting you at gaydon - gonna be on SSDD motorsport/Evotechnik stand - where are you?

Oh lol just realised who you are. I saw that black beama at Jennanys bday, your the photographer right? Haha, I was wearing the pink shirt.

That car you have is looking blingg! Loving the final products... I just never knew photographers get paid this well lol. We should meet up some time as we are local.

I see you have similar tastes of wheel to what I have on mind too. But I think the next mod should be them tips, they look appalling. Btw how are you coping with the bumper/lip. Mines been scrapping and I wanted to lower it like yourself, but I don't think i can drive any more than 15-20 mph on these local roads.

ohh im glad i chose BC then, i read some great reviews too and they're much more affordable than KWs lol, but that could be a future upgrade

and yeahhh, he helped me out with my E46, got me some great CSL reps that never cracked or buckled so i trust him lol... my old car is even on his website lol...

i was considering the LM-Rs and then when i saw yours it was a definite yes lol, you could say yours were inspirational :P but i think im just gonna wait it out and buy some used 19s or 20s and get them refurbed

im gonna be on the e90post stand but i will defo walk around to meet you lot! and yup smoked repeaters have to be added to the list...

LOL i knewww i knew from somewhere... i saw ur FB and i was like i swear i've seen this breh somewhere... ahaha yeah i was photographer there LOL photography does pay pretty good when you get good :P

yeahhh defo, you coming down to Gaydon??

what rims are you thinking?? i think i'm gonna wait til i find some genuine LM-Rs or similar... no point rushing it... and i didn't get the lip for that reason lol, i knew it would scrape all over the place... my bumper's been fine everywhere, and i know it should be fine cos i have a steep driveway where i can test if the car is too low lol...
