Hesitation and jerking

2006 325xi, 6M transmission.

Bought a used car. I have hesitation and jerking under light to moderate load(up to half throttle). I was thinking engine issues so replaced MAF and coils. Now I’m wondering if there is an issue with the transfer case.

Is this a potential transfer case issue? How to troubleshoot?

Pull codes, check fuel trims, smoke test. Move the thread to the general E9x forum, this is unlikely to be AWD-related. Stop replacing parts at random with zero diagnosis.
