Cupholders are completely ill conceived.
Key / remote needs to be very close to door to open.
Makes me drive like a maniac.

I thought I'd read somewhere that even back for the mid-cycle refresh BMW had relocated the window controls back toward the driver by an inch?

misfires , even after all new coils/plugs/injectors/fuel pump
window switches
cupholders
suspension wears quickly
no oil dipstick
headlights break easy (pre lci xenons)
soft windshield (everything that hits it leaves a mark)
no hole for aux cord in arm rest
dealers dont know how to troubleshoot a problem without a cel
RFT
NO TRUNK SPACE, have to take drivers out of golf bag just to fit it in the trunk

- Door Loock\Unlock
- No Dipstick, No Temp Gauge
- Electronic dipstick that takes forever to read
- Jack points that require you to make jack stands just for the car
- The wear rate on the steering wheel..its almost smooth now...87K on the clock

Im sure theres more. But besides that the car is a treat

Hate our wastegates lol
Hate window switch position
Hate seatbelt assist (deactivated never really caught the belt)
Don't like that you have to open the trunk to fold the seats..
Hate that my aluminum trim is so easily dented/pitted. Looks nice big upclose you can see alot of little marks...
Everything else I love...
Except the novillo leather I have. I looooove the look and feel, but it's not strong...
(M3 full interior with sport cloth)
Also ^^ I play alot of sports and run work out etc the sport cloth is a bitch to clean dry sweat marks by lower back area

Storage for things like phone accessories and misc stuff is minimal at best.

There is no notch cut out of the center to allow an aux cord to easily pass through outside of the armrest.

The glovebox is not deep enough.

The rear cup holder is awkward at best.

The glovebox is way too small.
The trunk takes a little too much force to close.
The night mode on the map should be automatic when the headlights turn on.
Brake dust.

Haven't seen this mention yet but it drives me fuckin nuts. The heat/AC button, its just one button for both, gets stuck all the damn time and sometimes wont turn off. It is the WORST out of any car I've ever owned. Pathetic for a luxury vehicle.

Besides that, the belt butler has worked liked twice since I've owned it, it always misses.

Someone else mention the fact that bluetooth, remote start, power seats, etc isn't standard.

No spare sucks.

The soft paint, scratches and marks so easily.

Pothole explosions due to the suspension and/or RFTs.

I would say the decomposition of interior plastics but I bought a 7 year old car so I dont think I have a voice in that. Still it sucks I cant replace the drivers door armrest handle thing without the whole door interior.

Absolutely love the car though.

Taking airbox off a little rough could lead the turbo inlet hose to come off ... put a clamp there genius designers
The voice recognition never worked
Nav doesn't have the capability to Mark points, search is v tine consuming
Window sw location
Side mirror always off from memory position
Rain sending Viper not sensitive enough sometimes
Runs hot, should have had the upgraded fmic f r om factory

The rattle box lid between the rear seats in the middle rear center tunnel of E92 335i coupe. It resonates like the strings in the lab of a physics class in a High school. That is why it is absent in M3. Because they know the exhaust of M3 will make it rattle non stop. The genius who designed and who signed off for it in a production non M E92/E93 cars should be made to sit in the back seats of these cars and hear the rattle until he/she swears that he/she will never do such a thing again.

I mean you get paid to design and test this stuff. You guys as BMW designers and engineers have most fun jobs. Do your job with some honesty and integrity.
