Recently obtained a set of kicker ssmb8s for underseat replacement speakers. As many of you know to do this requires spacers. I ordered the famous jtsherri spacers and could not be more pleased. Supporting fellow forum members who contribute quality products to the community should be encouraged so I'm posting my experience.

I have not yet had time to install them in car but I'll bet they fit perfect. I say this because build quality is excellent. They fit the speakers like a glove. The grille spacers and speaker spacers feel/appear professional. Included are 4 spacers; 2 speaker spacers and 2 grille spacers. Dealing with jtsherri is pleasant and professional. The transaction was painless and my products arrived quickly, well packaged and as described in excellent condition.

Now I just need to get time to install. I will supply more pics of install to complete review as soon as able. In the meantime here are a couple of low quality iPad pics to show what they look like. (Pics to follow when I get home)

Since you asked:

the SSMB8 require a MINIMUM of 1/2" spacer on HiFi or Logic 7 enclosures/

For BASE "Stereo" enclosures, a minium of 3/4" in is required.

Additionally, the cutout hole diameter must be NO MORE than 7/25" or you will have issues lining up the screw holes into MDF.

Just wanted to throw that out there as I originally ordered the 1/2 for mine and had to change them.

Edit: JTsherri is indeed a great member (non-vendor) seller.
