How do you remove adhesive from interior without discoloring?

I have a spot on my dash where my Garmin navigation used to sit, but the heat from the sun made the glue loose and now it keeps falling off. So I have removed the navigation but the glue is still stuck to my dash. Anyone know how to remove this adhesive without discoloring my dash? Thanks for the input.

Try isopropyl alcohol

Put it on towel and blot the area

Another option is to use an aerosol window cleaner, like stoners. The solvents in those will work just like 3m, and shouldn't stain. I only brought it up because most people have something like that handy. As with anything, try a test spot first.

(just make sure to try a test spot). It should work though, the trick is to spray on and let dry, should dry the adhesive right up.
