I bought the oil change kit from Mike at Maranello (can't remember how much but it was a good price) and me and my friend did the oil change. Was pretty easy with the pictures on the DIY section

I've been there once so far, just to change the oil... but I sure will return The seemed to be knowledgeable and very polite, I really liked the customer service, I filled their tech with questions and the guy patiently answered all of them, took the time to show me stuff around the car and explain some things, and gave me some advices on maintenance stuff, but didn't try to sell me nothing

thanks for all the suggestions guys. greatly appreciate it.
1. speedstar wanted $160 for oil change providing their oil (motul oil). Is this oil good for our car? what do you guys think of this price? i think its abit much. 2. bring my own oil and filter to speedstar will cost me 35 for labor. i think im just going to buy the ramps (rhino ramps) and do it myself. the DIY looks straight forward. thanks again guys. |

Wow. that's more than dealer's price of about $130.
I use Motul x-clean. It costs $40 (tax incl.) for a 5L jug. RMP charges only $25 for labor if you bring your own oil & oil filter. Quote:

They "Forget" to mention to you they will not reset any service light , or top any fluids on oil change. You have to pay for Oil Service to get anything more then oil change. |
