Off topic: F01 angel eye upgrade?

Yes I know this is the e90 forum but the 7 series section is pretty dead and I assume angel eye upgrades for the f01 are similar to the e90/e92 so I was wonder what the best option is to update the angel eyes to get rid of the awful yellow bulbs. Would standard bulbs work or is it best to go with a LED kit? I've read some of the LED kits have issues such as been too dim or not lighting up the entire ring.

Any suggestions would be great.

I actually did just an install over the weekend for a buddy who just picked up an F01. He picked up that HID kit that everyone is using on the F01 boards. Install is easy and output is bright. They still have that issue of the inner ring being brighter than the other, but thats inherient. Go for it.
