Something broke on 335i steering linkage, does anyone know what part this is??

So my steering started playing up a few days ago, and just noticed what looks like a black plastic (dust cover??) between the steering column linkage and steering rack is damaged. Looked on real OEM but can't seem to find a seperate part number for this??

That black plastic thing is used to align the steering shaft when the shaft is removed/instaled. There's a tab that slides into the slot on the steering U-joint. If it's installed incorrectly the DME will throw a code for steering angle. Otherwise it doesn't do anything. Have you removed the steering shaft recently?
