1) If you think top gear UK is stupid, then I believe I have the right for majority of this website to say GTFO.

2) Drifting is not a craze, it is a legitimate driving skill that is necessary in rally and other motor sports.

3) Mika Hakkinen would beat you with a tire iron if you said that comment to him.

In all fairness, knowing Mika, he totally would beat you with a tire iron if you insulted drifting to his face.

Don't compare your 50lbs of fat to an F1 athlete. I may have been a little hostile, but its only in proportion to your ignorance and attitude.

Lol I'm 6'3", 240 @ around 10% bf which means I carry around 25 pounds of fat, not 50. I'll bet you your car that I'm much stronger than your hero. Quit being a little jerkoff and threatening people you don't know with violence.

anyone hating any genre of music generally simply doesn't know the context in which it's meant to be enjoyed.

Haha, sorry to say that, but you are rediculous. Did you only now discover drifting?

Drifting...looks good....the girls who are at the shoes are cute....the cars look nice....there is some skill.....but it's like a candy bar. Yeah it's good but it won't fill you up.

As other people have said, drifting was may more popular around 04-06 than it is now. It's catching on more on the grassroots level, and there's still professional drifting, but it's not like it used to be.

Drifting takes a great deal of skill, I'd dare say as much as a NASCAR driver, it's just a different type of driving.

Drifting is way more enjoyable to watch live in person in my opinion than say F1 or many other types of racing. At any road course you can't see the entire track, so in order to see all the action you have to watch the TV.. Drifting is done in a small arena so it's easy to see everything from the stands.

It's not too bad as a driver but it's a little more tight as a passenger. Besides , it's mostly my wife's car.

I had a Lotus and more recently a z4 - the 1 series feels like a Lincoln Town car compared to those...

I recently saw a couple of "drifting contests" on a popular auto show. I thought that was a little lame.

I had a 930 turbo so I'm hardly new to the concept of controlled understeer.

Perhaps if you were intending to "drift" using controlled understeer might explain why you thought drifting was lame?

Oh, I see. Me calling the worship of "drifting" lame is what bothered you?

Sorry I called it lame.
