Sounds good John. I'll get back to you later today regarding your last email to me.

David, last year we met at the TA Travel Center in Lodi/Seville, right by the 71/76 interchange (exit 209). I thought that was a pretty good place to meet cuz it was open early and it was pretty empty. Plus it's a little further south for those people hitting 71 by 271. Anyways, it's up to you... I'm coming down from downtown, so I can meet you guys anywhere.

I think last year we had ~10 cars in our caravan. I hope we can double it this year... honestly, the drive down was just as fun as the event itself! Also, remember to bring some walkie-talkies if you have any.

Also, David, make sure Eurocharged brings the hotter models this time (no offense to the ones that came last year).

As of right now, I plan to meet up with some people in Strongsville right off of 71. Anybody that is close to that area can meet up with us there as well. If we have people that are further south and want to caravan with us down to Columbus, we can always make a pit stop at the TA Travel Center in Lodi. The more cars, the better!

I'm not sure if all of us have walkie-talkies, but I know for a fact that most of us have smartphones. If you have an iPhone or Android phone, download the app called "Voxer" It's a free walkie-talkie app. We can create a group chat on it and use it as walkie-talkies.

As of right now, Eurocharged has four models coming to Timmayfest. I'll make sure you get the girl of your dreams! Haha

Hey guys, I want to replace the bumpers on my '06 330i. I know that I want the OEM MTech rear. For the front I'd like to have a replica M3 bumper with the carbon fiber splitter just like the LTBMW one in California. In any case, does ANYONE have a good contact to get these parts or pick up these parts in our part of the country? I swear it seems like everything is in California....which would have been perfect if I still lived in Las Vegas. Ughhhhh!!!!

In any case, ANY help or pointers would be great. Thanks guys!

Well that's what I'm saying. I want to AVOID the $200 shipping for a single bumper. And if I get 2 bumpers, a trunk, skirts, etc. etc. that shit adds up quickly. Hence the major interest in LOCAL vendor.

There is nothing local. You'll have to get it shipped from somewhere, whether it's FL, MD, CA, etc. There might be some place in Chicago like IND that might be able to do it.

Is anybody running SWS-8 under the seats?

I'm trying to decide between that and getting a trunk sub and just crossing over the OEM L7 woofers to midbass

I would only do what adds the least weight.

It's a marginal difference...not like I'm going to throw a huge sub enclosure in the back, the MusicarNW one is fiberglass and fits in the wheel well. All told, even with a 12" sub the weight gain (including the amp) is less than 30 lbs, and that's in the trunk so it can only help weight distribution.

The parts finally came in yesterday for the LCI Front End Conversion. I was able to fit the bumper on and I'm loving how it's looking so far. I will fit the hood on tomorrow and then work on getting everything painted.
Some crappy cell phone pics cause I was exhausted.

30 pounds is huge especially out back and acts like a counter weight out back. Adding weight in this car doesn't help handling especially going around a corner on track at 100 plus. Been there done that. That 30ish pound sub I had in my old S2000 (it was placed in the tool well in the trunk) added a full second to my lap times at Beaverun. As you can tell, I am more for weight reduction, not adding. I have gotten past my audiophile phase of time and I use to be really into it back in the day adding loots and lots of weight. At that time I like Bazooka tubes since they were not to heavy. Now if I can make myself loos 20-30!
