PROcede Stage 1 2 3 Maps Questions

Ive done reading and read though, but what are the recommended octanes for the 3 tunes??

I'm assuming Stage 1 is 91 as well as stage 2 but stage 2 is designed for bolt ons? And is stage 3 a race gas map or is it another map that requires an intercooler?? Also could I run Map 3 on 94 octane with intake and catback?

Stages have to do with supporting mods not Octane.. You are better off with higher octane with any stage. I wouldn't run stage 3 with 91 regardless of mods though

Well here in MI we have 93 and Sunoco 94, so i won't be running anything less than that. If i was running 94 I should run stage 1 and maybe increase the UT? to like 77 78%?

Read the upcoming literature on self tuning that Shiv should be posting soon...
I wouldn't mess with it unless you know what you are doing and datalloging though

+1

Nothing wrong with just running the default maps with the default user torque settings. I think people are beginning to get the wrong idea that UT % must e adjusted. This is not true. Leave it alone unless you want to use and understand the new CANbus tools we are providing (and will be explaining in the soon-to-be-released documentation).

dude i dont wanna be the one to throw flames at. But for 63 post and being a NOOB in this forum i havent seen anyone use the button less than you have. Please for the sake of not being repetetive use it. Then if you still have a tune question (which should be unlikely because there has been numerous threads telling advantages, dyno runs, 1/4 mile runs, pros and cons, even arguments for and against) at that point ask away and consolidate all the questions in 1 single thread.

I am running Stage 3 w/91 octane AND still have secondary cats. I do have Helix FMIC, DCI, & catless DPs, though. Also, I turned down UT to 78%.

The car is really strong, better than Stage 2.

I have used the search button and have done a lot of reading but I was just trying to find the detailed information on the octane if it was different for each map or not thats all. I like peoples input with the new software thats why i posted a lot of the stuff i have searched has been about the older maps and the older software.

with better octane level you will be able to run more aggressive timing but you don't want to increase the boost level necessarily.

Like others said above just wait for the tuning manual that Shiv is doing.
