Correct me if I'm wrong...

It was my understanding that the E92 M3's headlights stayed the same while the other coupes graduated to Lci. I saw an M3 (don't know what year cause I couldn't see the tails) at the light a few days ago (in direct sunlight) and the angel eyes were Damn near blinding like those on the new Lci models. I'm about 95% sure that these weren't some aftermarket swaps.

So my question is: did the M3's also get updated to the new ai technology and just kept the old housings etc?

I'm trying to figure out of those headlights that the new LCI coupes have are compatible with an LCI e90? They are damn bright during the day..the rings are crisp and full.

e92 M3s have the same headlight. The e90 M3 is identical in the front.
They did not upgrade to the LCI.

Most M3s have aftermarket headlights or bulbs.

So are the stock ring bulbs in the new coupes compatible in the e90? Those bulbs are brighter and better than any aftermarket ones I've seen.

No, you won't be able to. The e90 design and the LCI e92 designs are totally different.
