Quickest order to delivery on record?

As some of you know, we ordered a second E90 around 10. July. The car was then built on the 17th and we picked it up on the 31st. Not bad. All in all, 21 days from start to finish.

that is almost impossible. i live in Cali and the time my car was on the boat to here is more than 21 than alone.

I got mine in 7 days. My dealership did a vehicle swap with BMW Manhattan.

Mine might have been the slowest - ordered car 10/29/05, delivery ln 2/13/06. Dealer's allocations were all sold and he was unable (or unwilling or didn't even try) to swap a spot with someone else, so I waited. Then production was pushed back due to the holiday, then there was a delay due to the aluminum trim "shortage" (sounds like a QC issue to me).

But when I finally got the car, the wait was worth it.

That's what almost happend to me with my first dealership, the Advisor said I would have to wait 6-8 weeks for my E90. So immediately I said fuck that and went to another dealership who offered to swap cars with another dealership.

I ordered mine on july 19, i called the number 800-831-1117 and they said that it is Assembly now and the expected completion date is Aug-03.
How long do you guys think that it will take once it is shipped??? I live in the mid west region - Indianapolis..

Sorry, you don't qualify. From 29 October to 13 February is only 108 days. I ordered mine on 5 October and got it on 28 January; 115 days. And I'm 6500 miles closer to the factory than you.

But I agree the wait was worth it.

I should have gotten my car somewhere next week...Would've been about 3 weeks but I called and they told me it has been pushed back till the end of August

I ordered 5/24 and am still waiting for mine to show up. It was done being built 6/7 and literally just sat over in Germany for over a month before it even got on a boat. So, I told my dealership that they could either provide me w/ a loaner car or I'd demand my deposit back and gp get someother car elsewhere...

Long story short, I got the loaner and am still waiting for my 325i to show up...

It feels very rediculous waiting 3 months for an entry level bimmer series (even though it's coming fully loaded w/ many options)

Holy cow, I can't believe you are still waiting.

I remember you commiserated with me when I was waiting in Bremerhaven for an inordinately long time. My car has since been delivered. At least they gave you a loaner in the meantime. I wish you best of luck!
