Any way to code us Nav for Tv Tuner?

Has anyone found a work around to get a tv tuner to work on us car? Is there any way like a vag com to get software to tinker with the bmw

I know there are plenty of LVDS boxes to work with the bmw nav screens but I am looking for an OEM tv tuner. It looks to me the euro nav units are plug and play with the oem tv tuner but it looks like the us coded nav units do not have the function tuned on
