interesting BMW deals
Hi all,
My brother e-mailed me a bunch of BMW PCP deals he has coming up shortly, and I thought I would share them with y'all - just incase you're thinking of changing soon. I'm not even too sure if I can do this here...but here goes. These deals are for both business and personal - just add the VAT to the monthly figure for personal prices. BMW M3 DCT Convertible: Comes with the Media Pack and 19" alloys. Choice of colours and leather/xenons etc are standard: 24 month deal with a £3,000 + Vat deposit. 8k pa limit - £399 + VAT pcm. BMW M5 DCT - £489 + vat - 6 month deposit - 24 month deal and 8k pa limit. BMW 730d SE - £435 + vat - 6 month deposit - 36 month deal 8k pa limit. BMW 640d M Sport Gran Coupe - £479 + vat - 6 month deposit - 24 month deal - 8k pa limit BMW 640d SE - £399 + vat - 6 month deposit - 24 month deal - 8k pa limit; or £449 + vat - 6 month deposit and 10k pa limit - that's a 36 month deal. send me a PM if you're interested and i can pass it on. These are no good to me, as the mileage limit isn't anywhere near big enough and beyond what I want to pay for my next car. However, I'm sure he could re-quote for desired mileage - other extras. |

Nice deals there. Big fan of both the M deals. Could be tempted next time. Would love an M5.
Just now though, would only be looking for a 530d M Sport Touring |

Both the M3 & M5 deals are stunning. I know people who have taken on these deals and Im extremely jealous!!
I keep trying to work out to shove one through work but unfortunately my Co-Director isn't like minded!! |

Yes, lease. I'm under the impression they both have the same principle. As far as I know, these deals are only available to some independent brokers, as BMW are finding the middle men to get shot of unregisted stock before the facelifts come out. I checked lings last week and even she can't give these prices...but I think she's a bit expensive anyway. |

about £3000 + VAT up front and an allowance of 21 miles per day.
a good deal for who ?? a reasonable drive out for a day and you're off the road for a week because you'll bust the mileage allowance |

Its not the end of the world. Whats the penalty for doing over the miles? Say its 20p a mile and you do 2K miles over the allotted amount (ie 10K miles a year) then you'd owe them £400 (per year). Or just a bit less than one extra monthly payment.
You need to find out how much the penalty is per mile and it might be worth paying the extra. |

8000 is way too low - if you use it Mon - Fri, you better work less than 15 miles from home!
I imagine the penalties for going 6-7k over would be huge

So, to lease a new M3 for two years, it will cost me:
£3600 up front £11,500 in monthly payments So that's £7,500 a year, or £625 a month with Nothing to show for it after 2years. Think I'll stick with my 5year old M3 (which is paid for). Wow! |

Basically, if you're in the market for a brand new £60k+ car, these stupid lease deals are by far the cheapest way of ownership and especially as risk/hassle free. Or, to put it another way, this lease deal will cost you £15k over 2 years - I bet you'd lose £20k the moment you drive a new M3 off the forecourt. I'm so so so tempted to snap up one of these deals or more likely the M5 deal which is more stupid too. Off my soap box now

Not being an expert on an M5 are there any extras that need added or is it already well specced.
Still about £17500 for 2 years motoring but strangely tempting. |

Remember M3 FST, he's got an order in for one (having bailed on the current E93 M3 deal), he's only added 20" wheels, sun protection glass & upgraded stereo from memory. They're pretty loaded already. His has worked out at something like £510+vat p/m. His mate has ordered a mirror imagine one too. He nearly persuaded me to join the party but chickened. There was some quirk to the wheels, as he changed something last minute to these, as the wheels didn't impact too much on cost as they increased the resale value whereas other options don't so you divide the cost by the number of months of the lease i.e. you pay fully some options. He got his local BMW dealer to match the lease deal as think this quirk only work on the BMW system (lease companies don't have the facility to increase the future guaranteed value). Something like this. Initially the dealer, who he knows, couldn't match the price, but when 2 were being ordered they could better the deal.
