Next thing you know hes going to make a thread of his annual earnings. Dude no one cares, all you had to say is I bought a car and sold it. Showing off that you made some quick cash is not a good look.

I wouldn't want to get involved with coworkers at all buying/selling, because let's face it, when we change jobs, it's always because of coworkers (inside track). If a coworker claimed you burned him/her on a car, now it spreads and everyone is talking, I mean that profit is a fraction of a sign-on bonus.

When I was single my coworker wanted to get rid of her Suburban. So I said I'll take it, thinking she's gonna give it to me at wholesale--but no, it was above kbb retail for a perfect car! Let's say I bought it, and the rear AC goes out and is not repairable (it happened)--I would tell everyone dag man she sold me a bum Suburban and ripped me the **** off! Probably even post it!

My wife would say why do you remember these things, let them go. She did try to take me to her firm only 2 yrs. ago, but I said no thanks I make way more than that at my current position lol (she threw out a number that I guess they were pretty sure I would bite)

I'd suggest spending that $3200 on some grammar courses.

So I ended up selling it to my co worker for $13,000 through the bank. I paid cash for all my cars. Just waiting for a check from the bank. The car was purchased from the auction. This is the 2nd time I make profit from buying a BMW from the auction. Car was in near perfect conditions.

You're right but you should know that we live in a world where everyone is always so critical of things posted online.

Perhaps if you worded the thread to state how great it is to have access to dealer auctions and spun it a different way.

Also, English probably isn't your first language so I should have cut you a little bit of slack.

Thank you, I probably could have worded everything much better. And yes English is not my first language but I try my best

Unless you illegally floated the title you had to register the car and pay the local sales tax. After auction fees, registration, and sales tax, what did you net? My guess is around $1,850 - $2,200. Definitely not a bad profit at all.

I don't know about you but selling it to family, friends, co-workers is a risk. If anything goes wrong down the road you are going to be the first person they are going to point fingers at for selling you the car no matter how many times you say it's sold as is. I find it best to sell it to strangers. But good job on the flip. Just be humble about it.

Nice flip! That's a decent amount of money. Gonna use it to mod the E92? And man that was a good looking 135i btw. Good price you sold it for too.

Idk why everyone's hating on this thread lol, acting like making that much on a flip is nothing while running reps, buying the cheapest tires possible, etc

There's no point in starting any threads on this forum man. Most people on here are dicks and rude for no apparent reason. That's a really nice flip though. The 335xi E92 is so much sexier than the 135i. I am however tempted to drive one just because it's so small and will be really quick and fun to toss around.
