looks like pshop or just a sketch to me.....
i dont understand why people label such pictures as "EXCLUSIVE" or "OMG NO WAY SPYSHOTS" when they are not at all.

"early marketing photo scans of the upcoming LCI for the 3 series set to debut this fall" that's what the article says...
i don't like the wheels!

looks more like a pontiac than before. Glad I have an '07.

Saw the new 7 pics... looks more like a Dodge Magnum than before. But I do wish I had a web browser on my iDrive!

The wheels on the sedan look a looooot like the current E92/93 335 ZSP wheels. I like the new ones on the wagon sketch, which we've seen elsewhere, too.

I still think that the rumpled hood, a la the SUVs, is heinous. And that the "notch" in the taillight doesn't do enough to make a still-weird back end look better. They should've taken the inner vertical cut, which currently angles away from the license plate area as it goes from top to bottom, and made it mirror the angle of the plate area (so it angled toward the center of the car.

Love the wheels. Ambivalent about the hood. The hood ripples could have been much worse, so I'm happy with that.

Quite interesting comment, I guess you have employees of BMW marketing doing a quick scan of some images they are working with and emailing them to you too then..... or spy shots of a similar fashion or engineers and designers of electronics as sources; nope I guess not and that is why they are exclusive so until you get your own sources quit complaining...
Notice how no one else is?

And just for the record I did not create this thread or the heading... I just linked in the other thread Mark started.

I guess that the OP doesn't know the difference between photos and drawings.

What is LCI? I love it when the authors assume that everyone knows what their silly abbreviations stand for.

Life Cycle Impulse (or fancy name for facelift).

Probably the 3rd thread I've seen today with these leaked pics from BimmerFile.

These appear to be a photo of a photo (or catalog page)

It's to comply with new European requirements. The new generation of Mercs rolling out such as the C-class also sport these hideous things.

Aside from the taillights, which have always been covered in the spyshots, these drawings seem fairly accurate.

Love those lights!

Man, those new tail lights look way better, hope they're on the e90, the front lights also look better without the indicator reflector!

the pics look good. yeah, they are drawings, but they still give some good ideas about what the real car is going to look like. personally, i care most about i-drive and whether the 09 3ers (including M3) are going to get it.

If I draw a stick figure on a bar napkin, can I call that a "photo" too?

Don't you think it's kinda odd for a re-fresh to get this many updates? Usually it's just a front or rear lift or tuck but what it appears is happening is a new front, rear, tailights, hood, new shadowline trim. It just seems that so much is changing. I think the new hood will give it a different look and of course with the mustache gone also makes the whole front integration of the kidneys appear to be different.

I'm just kinda suprised that so much is being changed on the 3rd year and we have not even got to the inside changes yet.
