I'm still surprised they didn't release the variant 2 at the same time? $1,400 would be a good price for variant 2s, while the variant 1s could be sold at around $1,200.

Yeah they fucked the pricing up big time.

H&R's are in the 1100-1200 range. That was my route. Again all I'm looking for is better ride height will never ever track the car not even an auto x. I wish there was a cheaper spring and shock option as I will probably never adjust the ride height after it's set once.

+1

$1300 + shipping for the V1s is too much. I really want V3s, but it's more than I'm looking to spend at the moment - especially w/ labor costs factored in. At $1200 shipped for the V1s, I'd probably pull the trigger.

this might be a noob question, but what aspects of the suspension are still adjustable with the v1 coilovers?

$1100 max for V1s.

I mean they are just shocks and spings.....
I have a noob question. If the V1s lower the car how will that affect alignment, tire wear, etc. Are there other suspension adjustments that need to be made to make the car ride properly?

^^ you need to do a full alignment when ever you lower a car. That's about it though.

I think it goes like this, but correct me if I'm wrong....

Variant 1 = Can only adjust height.
Variant 2 = Can adjust height and rebound
Variant 3 = Can adjust height, rebound and dampening.

$1400 is too steep for just height adjustment...

If they were 1200 I'd pick them up

I can see all Euro products going up 40% within a year.

It was so hard to convince them to get a V1 - most people asked me for a V1 because they didn't want an H&R and wanted the KW product.

H&R's are $1355 + shipping - I have no idea where this idea of 1100 range comes in (GL at that price thats an impossible quote) - the KW's are well priced to compete for a superior product.

Humtek - you are right, you are like a KW rep now

Should be approx 2.5 Hours of labor - Expect to pay about $300-$350 depending on the shop and expertise, and if they work with you on tuning your suspension.

I don't know about 40%, but I sure hope not. The last time the whole dollar thing happened at the end of 07 we saw the KW product shoot up 15-20%.

You are right, checked our price on it - and anyway yeah just adjusted it on our site(looks like cost had dropped since our listing). Anyway yeah new listing on our site.

I'd still get the KW V1 xi though.

So, every time I adjust the height on the V1s I'd need an alignment?

I'm thinking about going with the V3, I'm looking for just a little drop but want a good upgrade in handling and stiff as hell, I could care less about ride quality as long as I can carve those corners.

How much for a handling upgrade will the V3's be compared to my standard sport suspension as this is my next mod on my list?

i'm sure they are not selling like crazy at this price so if we just wait it out for the inventory clearance maybe we'll get a decent discount
