Can some one recommend me a tire shop where they can mount and balance a new set of tires.

Discount Tire, its alittle expensive but they get the job done properly and "if" anythig gets damaged they will pay for it.

We used a place called 3 piece wheel repair. If you don't care much about your wheels, I've got mine mounted and balanced at the nicer walmart on Park/Tollway.

For a nice wheel I'd look for a good place to do it. We found a place called 3-Piece Wheel Repair that mounted and balanced for pretty inexpensive. They have a nice machine that doesn't touch the lip of your wheels.

I purchased a set of Vredestain tires for my X5, I'll try walmart at park/tollway then, I guess I need to make an appointment?

Nah, you can just take it there. It was the cheapest place that I found and I've had several sets on other cars mounted/balanced there before.

wrong on discount. thy jacked up my friends wheels on install and didn't pay for anything

just went to walmart because it was the only place open today and tried to install the wheels and get my tires mounted on... but they refused me.

reason: their machine doesnt fit my 19s and its a BMW. oh and that they dont mess with TPMS but they sell repair kits. go figure.

gonna try discount tires tomorrow... hope they dont jack up my wheels.

from my personal experiences, discount tires are hit or miss. depends if you're getting the 20 yr old kid that doesn't care. or the 30 yr old that loves car and so he won't mess with your wheels...

I had better experience on NTB then Discount Tire... And I've been to multiple discount tire locations...

walmarts a no go... atleast around where i am located. i looked at their machine and its not the same machine they have at discount tires. i got a buddy thats a manager at discount tires macart ave location but its kind of far for me to go right now.

yes it seems like you are taking a risk going to walmart... let alone the machine but more because of guys who work there

if discount tires that i will be going to messes up my wheels, then i will be asking my buddy to see what can be done.

UPDATE:
just got the scheduled setup to mount the wheels and tires on the car today at 4:30pm. i called DT stores around me and just ended up going where my buddy works. come to find out he is assistant manager now, and not a manager. but i think the price he gave me is reasonable $84.98 out the door with mounting/balancing/TPMS rebuild kit.

the machines and people who work are probably same as anywhere else... but least this way i know someone there that can at least guarantee the work and if there is a problem, that i dont have to hassle about.

this location is probably bit too far for most of you guys...

that's pretty cheap, it's usually around $30 a tire for mount/balance/ect at discount tire. 3 piece wheel repair was like $15 a wheel though for mount/balance.

if you are interested its hard to find a good center cap. so i just made a lay over and if you want i can get you some. i can get them in silver too since your wheels are silver if you want.

its upside down btw.
