Interesting, but wonder if it is any better than just doing an Alpina flash??

only one way of finding out. Maybe you could convince them to demonstrate on a 6AT n54 to advance their product on this platform

I couldn't even get the Alpina flash for my diesel. It is only for the petrol.

How much is the Alpina flash anyway. According to the RD Technik website, the shift plus is $1695.

$1650??? That is just rediculous. An Alpina flash is free, and fairly good to be honest, a great improvement over stock

Oh Aplina is free??? Why do diesel cars always miss out...
I brought the n57 diesel thinking it was bullet proof compare to the N55 which at the time had fuel pump issues... How I wish I had gotten the 335i now There is so much more that you can do to a 335i compare to 330d.

Believe me... I have looked at buying a the last few month 335i

But considering an 340i with new B58 engine is just around the corner, I might just hang tight to see what happens. Then again, there are so much tuning option ATM out there for the 335i where the B58 will have very little tuning option when release next year.

I'd recommend waiting and hopping into the F series, either the 335i/435i or 340i. BMW are getting better and better with their cars and you will definitely notice it once you drive one. The latest ZF8 gearbox is awesome, almost as fast as the DCT unit as well as being very smooth when you want it to be.
