The problem is sound is so subjective! Both sound good to me though the VRSF sounds a bit more tame.

Unless you hear both in person, roll the dice.

I've had customer that change exhaust multiple times on this platform. Some it's just to hear a different sound, others is because they simply don't like it anymore.

I changed my exhaust 4x on my RSX

Well in all fairness, it took 42 pages to release a system that doesn't fit awd models lol

That doesn't help if there isn't a before/after, that's kind of what I was going for, since 415 isn't exactly inspiring.

You guys make everything so difficult. Almost all of these exhaust aftermarket flow similar there is nothing special done with any of them.

I do not have the vrsf system but I have something similar to it my car dynoed stock at 276whp it then made 406whp with a custom tune and full bolt on mods. And my dyno pulls are used on the exact same dyno

When you buy a cat back system you are mostly buying it for the sound not the power.. plenty of guys already made it known with their single turbo cars that the stock exhaust can flow at extremely high horsepower. A cat back system will probably give you 10 horsepower if you want power get down pipes that's where the power comes from

A before and after dyno is not difficult, it's actually quite easy. And I bet VRSF would pay for the after dyno.

Your car is underperforming, I did 470 FBO.

I've already God downpipes, as does every other FBO car. So an extra 10hp on the stock turbos is quite attractive.

my car is not under performing.... i dont have inlets and it was 93oct. on map 6 which is user adjusted not a backend flash. every dyno reads different. which is why its dumb to compare dyno numbers unless you use the same dyno. My car is making way more power on MHD alone now.

ANYWAY...what im trying to get at is almost all the aftermarket exhaust have the same power gains there is nothing special done to them, it simply comes down to exhaust note. the VRSF exhaust has its own unique sound and it is awesome. Its a good price and high quality sound it should be a no brainer if you are actually interested in it.

Oh, I guess when you called your car FBO I figured it was, and that it wasn't like half of FBO.

What are these power gains, and how can we know they're all the same without dyno tests?

It's widely known in the platform that exhausts aren't large power adders. Figure 10HP and it really depends on tuning and other mods.

If you are looking for more power, look elsewhere, it's primarily for sound.

It only really adds power once the exhaust becomes the larger restriction, which it isn't for most stock turbo FBO cars.
