OEM wheels with spacers

I am contemplating the possiblity of getting small spacers for the rear of my car. Has anyone gotten rear spacers on the stock suspension and 162's? ... or atleast have pics of it? I am not looking to push it out too far, but enough to make it fill the wheel arch a little better...

5mm won't look much different.

I'd go with at least 10mm, but 15mm would look much better.

How do spacers affect handling? especially with the already staggered tires???

A 20mm - 30mm wider track in the rear should have minimal effect on on handling (if any).

if u have the 162's go with a 15mm spacer.. those wheels are 37 offset. with the 15mm you will be at a net 22.. i have a net 23 offset on mine. go with the 15mm spacers from rogue engineering

I had floated the same question last week and plan to go with the 10mm. Stock is a bit 'tucked in', but didn't want to go too agressive with the look.

can you confirm that 162s are 37offset? im thinking of 10mm also.
15mm might be a bit too much. 5mm won't do much at all.

I have put 20 mm on the rear of my 199 wheels (on each wheel) and it is fine. If you want to fill the gap, you need 20 mm, 10 mm is not enough ( I tried ...)

199 wheels are only 9" therefore the 20mm offset is perfect.

all the e90 oem wheels are listed on the somewhere on the site with the sizes and offsets.. the 162s are 18x8 front with 34 offset and rear is 18x8.5 with 37 offset. I think a 20mm offset will look the best though

I would love to get 20mm. Isn't there a downside to spacer?

I am afraid 20mm might cause problems. I am deciding between 10~15mm.
I heard too wide of a spacer can cause problem in suspension geometry or any unusual wear/tear on parts/tires.
