Racing buddy's 370z today...

My friend keeps talking shit that he will smoke me in a race. And for quite some time that has been true untill I got my cobb ap yesterday. Rolling start around 10-15 mph. About a quarter mile race. He has a stock 370z automatic tranny. Any advice? I am nervous I think he will win but whatever ahhhh. I will let you know who come out on top. Thanks

Hmmm is a 370z an m3? Nooo and I stated I was racing a 370z not m3. I wasn't asking if I would win or not like I did In a previous thread about the m3.

I was also speaking hypothetically about racing the e93 m3. I am not going to just was curious where I stood.

10-15 mph he may get you. Autos aren't quite as traction limited as a manual. Hope you have good tires.

This is of course if u race to 70 mph like you said u were lol.

the only irritating thing is the posters never actually report back on these threads and say how the race ended. so record it, and get back to us, you tell US if a tuned 335 will take a 370z instead.

My buddy has a Nismo 370Z and we've had our share of fun.. well, i have. On stage 2+ i absolutely murder him regardless of roll/situation. From a 20mph roll im ahead by a bus length by 80

yup we raced I smoked him on the highway I have some videos I am trying to upload. Unfortunately when we raced from a stopped position he beat me, he got such great launches and would pull away at about 70...
