How are you guys drag racing ? Auto guys

From a dead stop I feel a good launch should be by brake stalling , right?
Also should I be playing with the gears or have it on the left under sport ?
For quickest times

Thanks in adavance

put it in manual mode, go to first and let it shift into 2nd by itself. then for every other gear change shift at around 6,200-6,300 rpms

I see you have X-Drive, wouldn't that be a little too high for his RWD?

for some cars, 2nd gear would be better. but i let my car shift to redline itself.

this. Most people with flashes or well chips go from second because theres no traction in first.

If you have a tune launching from first gear is useless due to traction. Rev to about 2500K while power braking and then release brake pedal. I still spin at around 20 MPH but that's with street tires. If you rev any higher than 2500K you'll just start spinning your tires as if you were trying to do a burnout.

yeah I am RWD and the front brakes will not hold much above 2,000 rpm while power braking. I was launching in DS mode because when I tried it in M2 and floored it, it kicked down into M1. Should I launch in M2 but try to hit the throttle so as not to induce the kickdown? My 60' times are in the 2.1x range which I think is a little high for my mods.

Yes you need to launch from 2nd and learn how to floor it without hitting the clicker down.
