Dealers in Houston, TX

I've done a couple searches, but all the relevant threads are pretty old now.

What dealerships have you all had a positive experience with in Houston? My g/f owns a lexus and the hospitality at these dealerships blows me away whenever she takes her car in.

I've decided to finally purchase a 335i and want to work with dealers who cater to their customers.

Good deals, great service, where at!?

I bought my 328i from Momentum on 59. My CA gave me an excellent deal and my SA is a great guy too. I recommend Momentum!

I went with an out of state dealer, Passport BMW in MD back in 06. I ordered for $500 over invoice in did the perfomance delivery pick up in SC. I would definitely recommend and will probably do again in a couple of years.

The deal went very smooth, I just had to get over any fears of ordering a car over the internet/phone.

The perfomance delivery experience was exceptional. We spent a day driving around the track in model like ours and then were driven around in an M5 for some hot laps. We were also given a 755 to drive back and forth from the center to the track.

We use BMW North in the woodlands for maintenance. We used to use North BMW in spring but the service was shotty.

Save yourself some trouble...go see Chris Sundermeyer at Advantage Clear Lake. The guy is on this forum...and owns a 335 (when his wife lets him drive it). He loves the cars and is low-pressure and laid-back.

He'll negotiate a bit, but you will get a good deal.

Go see Larry Smith at BMW North Houston. I bought my first car from him, and he was/still is extremly helpful. I'd go to BMW NH again, and to Larry again as well.

Anyone at BMW North is better than Momentum. They have become so full of themselves they have completely lost the customer service they once had several years ago.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. I told them I had bought my vehicle from another dealer outside of texas, but would like my vehicle serviced. They said ok...you'll have to wait. I asked if they would be able to provide me a loaner, and they said no because you didn't buy the vehicle here, and pointed me to the hertz rental. So I said...well it's a problem from the factory - not a fault of mine, why can't I just get a loaner for a day or two, you have a parking lot FULL of them...they said no. Went to BMW of north houston, they said loaners are complimentary, no questions asked, took me in right away, and very nice. got my car the very next day.

I bought my car at Momentum and they always provide loaners, although not necessarily a BMW loaner b/c loaners are based on availability.

I called Advantage BMW for service once b/c they are way closer to where I live than Momentum and they wouldn't give me a loaner because I didn't buy from them. A friend of mine bought a used 325i from the Mercedes Benz of Houston North and took it to BMW North for service and he was refused a loaner. Most dealerships are like that and I'm happy for you that BMW North help you out with the loaner.

BMW Houston North FTW!

i guess im biased though.

However, for all CCA and Forum members (bavarianspeed.com and bimmerforums) or
Parts dept. offers a 15% discount on on all OEM parts, aswell as offering a discount on most the aftermarket products we offer. (Dinan, ACS, etc.)

Eh, I had no luck buying at any dealership in Houston. I do like Advantage Midtown for service though.. I found a much better deal on my 2006 325i Sport at Brian Harris BMW in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. 45 min flight for $36 on a Continental.com special... Awesome 4 hour drive home! Booya!

I am in the Beaumont Texas area and was wondering if anyone had a dealings with the dealer in Beaumont or am I better off going to Houston?

Thanks

Carl from Momentum was an asshole. I asked to test drive a 328i and he asked me if I was going to purchase one in a rude way. He didn't ask when would I be purchase one but if I was going to. I was on my way to make a complaint at the front desk when he intercepted me and gave me a test drive. I left after that and contacted Advantage Midtown. I bought my car from Advantage Midtown. Justin was the person I dealt with. He gave me the best deal without any hassle and was very professional.
