Nice article. ...not great but good enough.

They clearly wanted a manual but reviewed an auto.... There is no accelerator fuzziness with the 6MT. Seemed more interested in the cabin displays than the driving experience. Overall, not a very useful review, but then, you gotta drive one to appreciate it.

Yea, I think most CNET car reviews are a little odd. Trying to make their focus on technology fit with cars, which works if the review is about a new feature (iDrive, for example), but less so if it's concerned with the overall experience of the car. They also criticize the "smart key" but don't mention / don't know that Comfort Access is an option.

When is "Keyless entry" an "option" for the 328i? Or when is video entertainment system an "option". All 3 series have keyless entry. It's just whether you get comfort access or not. And video entertainment is never an option. It's a dealer add on option at the most.
Cnet is just not in the right position to write car reviews. They just repeats what other people says and never get 100% of their info right. |
